No account, no subscription, no trial that ends. The whole board and every card, given away, because communication and free speech are a basic human right and should not be for profit. Article 21 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities names augmentative and alternative communication as part of the right to free expression, and the UK ratified that convention in 2009. A right should not be sold by subscription.
Nothing you say ever leaves your device. The board needs no internet once it has loaded, and there is no server for your words to go to.
No AI, no voice cloning. The voices are the ones already on your phone, tablet or computer.

Who Talk is for
Anyone who needs another way to speak, and the people alongside them. Autistic children and adults, people with a learning disability or cerebral palsy, and people who have lost speech after a stroke or through motor neurone disease. Parents and foster carers who want something on the family tablet tonight rather than after a funding panel. Speech and language therapists, teachers and support workers who need a board they can hand over without opening an account in somebody else's name.
Talk is a starting point and a fallback, not a substitute for an assessed and funded AAC system where one is needed. If a specialist device is on its way, Talk covers the gap. If one is not coming, Talk is here.

Really useful and accessible
Really like this app. I use Fiducia Talk on days when my autism and anxiety make speaking particularly difficult, especially around friends and family. It gives me another way to communicate without putting pressure on myself to speak, which I really appreciate. I think the concept is genuinely useful and could help a lot of people with autism, anxiety, selective mutism and other communication difficulties. It’s simple, easy to use and well thought out. It’s also good to see a small UK business creating something that can actually make a difference for people. Definitely worth checking out and supporting! 💙
